Stockholm, (15th November) – Today VICE and Marshall Headphones premiere the first episode of series two from the epic documentary series On the Road. Tim Harrington, lead singer of New York City post-hardcore band Les Savy Fav will host the second series. Split over six episodes, On the Road takes viewers off the beaten track to discover epic tales behind iconic concerts, from Omaha to Austin and Oklahoma.

The first episode sees Tim Harrington meet one of the most respected behind-the-scenes guys in Rock n Roll, Pyro Pete, a pyrotechnician who has been blowing stuff up for years for legends including KISS, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Mötley Crüe. Pyro Pete shows Tim around his studio containing props from KISS concerts, while recalling the time when Gene Simmons called him up on stage mid-show only to yell at him. He also shows Tim a bazooka that was used by Eric (KISS Drummer), and jokingly reminisces about how Blacky Lawless’ (W.A.S.P) codpiece exploded on stage resulting in an early exit.
On the Road, is a documentary series produced by VICE and Marshall Headphones. Presented by Jesse Hughes for the first series, Tim Harrington presents the second series. On the Road celebrates the travelling rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle paying tribute to the unsung, behind-the-scenes heroes that make the gigs happen.

Jesse “The Devil” Hughes, aka Boots Electric is the epic front-man of Eagles of Death Metal. Jesse has recently released his debut album under the name Boots Electric, called Honkey Kong. In Jesse’s six episodes he travels around his beloved home state of California from Hollywood to Coachella Valley.
